Countries in the European Union and European Economic Area
EU and EEA nationals can visit Romania without a visa, all they need is their valid national ID document or passport. The following countries are all in the European Union and/ or EEA:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

The best option for citizens of other countries is to check with the Romanian Embassy in your country or check the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website.
