Built between 1857 and 1867, Templul Coral is a survivor, and one of the few synagogues in Bucharest that has made it through the trials and challenges thrown its way throughout history.

Templul Coral is the biggest synagogue in Romania and one of the few that is still in use. It is full of history and stories that are capable of captivating everyone that visits. Its exterior, decorated with yellow and red arabesque-style bricks makes an instant first impression.

Once inside, the synagogue surprises with its golden details and the beauty of its decorative elements. Although the real treat is the fantastic guide that gives passionate lessons about the synagogue and Jewish history in the country.
